Others, like hazardous materials and fresh foods, should not be shipped overseas because it’s against international regulation. Shipping overseas by plane typically takes eight to ten days, as apposed to six to eight weeks by sea. For this reason, we recommend shipping items you need urgently, such as clothing, by air.

A large part of this depends on what country you’ll be moving to and whether you’ll be moving via air or sea. We’ll also need to see your current living space and belongings. Next, we’ll work with you to determine your specific needs for your overseas move. Using all of this information, we’ll make an introductory estimate for your international move broken down by cost types, such as time and effort. Once you okay the price, we’ll send you a final written estimate that fixes what you’ll pay for your move overseas.

The answer to this question will depend on the country you’re moving to. Don’t worry though, usually the answer is yes. You’ll just need to make sure your pet is up to date on all vaccinations and get a health certificate from your veterinarian stating that your pet is in good health.

You should never work with a moving company that doesn’t offer insurance to protect your belongings. We offer Full (Replacement) Value Protection, which  protects your valuables in the rare event they are lost, damaged, or destroyed. When you choose this option, your goods are completely protected. They will either be repaired or replaced with a cash settlement for their current market value.
